EDiT iD has developed a range of fixed and portable handheld readers for radio frequency identification (RFID) devices. These RFID readers can be used in a variety of environments including agricultural and industrial settings.

EDiT iD 134.2kHz readers are ISO compliant, reading both HDX and FDX-B radio frequency tags. The EDiT iD Industrial Reader (125kHz) reads FDX tags.

EDiT iD has also developed a range of antennas to complement our readers. These antennas are designed to be used in different environments depending on what your requirements are.

The EDiT iD Fixed Reader System consists of the HiPR-603A RFID Reader control unit and an antenna. The EDiT iD RFID Reader Control Unit will operate with any EDiT iD antenna. These antennas are designed to be permanently mounted and have been specifically developed for a number of agricultural applications, including sheep, beef, deer and dairy. They can be fitted into wooden races or directly onto steel animal handling equipment with open pipe/tube framing construction.

The EDiT iD Fixed Reader System allows hands free collection of individual livestock information. It can be connected to leading brands of EID enabled weigh scales or directly to a field-based computer with appropriate farm software.
